About this site

This site aggregates the work of the KW Production Series, a project for KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin. The site hosts and streams artist moving image works produced by the Series for time-limited periods, alongside the presentation of documented interviews, talks, online events and publications that these moving image works provoked. The documentation of these projects remains online after the streaming period as an ongoing archive for the production context.

About the KW Production Series

The KW Production Series is dedicated to artists’ moving image works and concentrates on annual productions. The project takes inspiration from KW Institute for Contemporary Art’s founding principles as a place for production, critical exchange, and thoughtful collaboration.

Within this ongoing series, KW seeks to identify and serve artists who are at a pivotal moment in their work and career—those who will benefit not only from the financial support and institutional visibility this opportunity provides, but also those who will be able to use KW Production Series to significantly contribute towards the depth and rigor of their artistic practice.

The KW Production Series is curated and produced by KW’s Associate Curator Mason Leaver-Yap, and assisted by Linda Franken, Sabrina Herrmann, and Sarah Wessel.
